SURFACE INSPECTION SYSTEM - DIRIS

This technology allows the automatic detection of defects in the surface of rolled steel products, such as chips, scales or transverse fissures. DIRIS stands for Digital Rail Inspection System.

Advantages:

• Technology: A new image acquisition method, based on two lights of different colour, allows the identification of surface defects in the workshop environment, at the necessary testing speed, and provides for a satisfactory resolution.
