Speed and Precision
Once the entire profile line of the object to be measured has been recorded, the data will be analyzed and the resulting measurement values will be displayed. A complete measurement process lasts from 5 to 60 seconds, depending on the profile length. Classic measurement errors when measuring with gauges for example, due to tilted scanning, undefined measuring force or lopsided application of the device are ruled out. Calipri Universal autonomously assesses the quality of the recorded segments of the profile, eliminating the inappropriate ones. The measurement result is freed of operator influences to a large extent and hence is objective and reproducible. Typical exactitudes are in the range of a few 1/100 millimeters, dependent upon the application and size of the measurement field that has been selected.
