Tolerant user guidance
Measuring is easy. The user simply turns the Calipri-Gap sensor over the gap by hand. The intelligent measurement system, which is based on image processing techniques, continually records and subsequently combines the individual segments of the gap profile. Distance and angle of the sensor with respect to the measured object need not be kept exactly constant. The System supports the user during the measurement process by continually providing acoustic feedback on the correct positioning of the sensor relative to the gap.
